Devin Singletary Is Tough To Trust In Week 8
5 years agoBuffalo Bills running back Devin Singletary made his return in Week 7 after missing over a month of action. Despite seeing seven carries in a favorable matchup against the Dolphins in Week 7, Singletary was only able to gain 26 yards, good for just 3.7 yards per carry. This week, the Bills face an Eagles Defense that has been awful against the pass, but exceptional against the run. They're allowing the 6th-fewest rushing yards per game in the league this year. Frank Gore has been the team's workhorse all year and should earn double-digit carries once again this week, with Singletary likely to be somewhere between five and ten total touches. Keep holding on to Singletary as he could still very much help down the stretch, but he's a risky starting option this week.
