Calvin Ridley Is A WR2/WR3 Play In Week 8
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley received a boost in his value going forward when the team traded away Mohamed Sanu, who had been targeted just two fewer times than Ridley on the season. Now, Ridley is the team's clear No. 2 receiver. Starting quarterback Matt Ryan (ankle) is currently questionable for Week 8 and Ridley's potential in Week 8 varies a bit depending on if Ryan can go or if Matt Schaub is the starter. With Ryan at the helm, consider Ridley a low-end WR2 option with a good chance to compile around 60 or 70 receiving yards with scoring potential. With Schaub starting, Ridley's more of a WR3 play with a risk of gaining under 50 yards on the day, though he'd still have the potential to score.
