BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 1% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Zach Pascal had a career-best performance in Week 7 against the Texans. He caught six of his seven targets for a career-high 106 yards and two touchdowns. He was second on the team in targets with only T.Y. Hilton ahead of him with 11. No other Colts wide receiver had more than two targets in the game.
Pascal appears to be emerging as the Colts' clear No. 2 receiver. In terms of playing time, Pascal has been about neck-and-neck with fellow wide receivers Chester Rogers and Deon Cain. They all logged between 32 and 41 offensive snaps this past week, with Cain being the low man, Rogers being the high man and Pascal right in the middle with 36. There's little differential in their snap counts over the past month. However, the production has been widely different as Pascal has blown the other two away. In his last four games, Pascal has caught 13 passes for 239 yards and three touchdowns. Over that same stretch, Rogers has caught five passes for 72 yards and Cain has caught just two passes for 17 yards. Neither has a score.
Pascal's solid production over the past month should earn him more playing time and more opportunities For now, he is a solid add in leagues of 14 teams or deeper. He likely won't be a staple of consistency at least for now as the Colts often favor the run and don't have a ton of air production outside of Hilton and maybe their tight ends, but he could be a good bye week fill-in as a WR3 or flex given the right matchup. In leagues of fewer than 14 teams, he can be left on waivers.
