Teddy Bridgewater Throws Two Touchdowns Against Bears
5 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Teddy Bridgewater threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns in the Saints' 36-25 victory over the Chicago Bears. On the one hand, Bridgewater completed just 60.5 percent of his passes, his second-lowest mark of the season. Fortunately, the 26-year-old averaged his second-highest yards per attempt mark of the season, 7.4, and was aggressive looking downfield. The day could have been even better for the sixth-year veteran had wide receiver Ted Ginn hauled in a deep pass in the end zone. Still, it was a good sign that Bridgewater had some success against a tough defense, though he may not have fantasy value moving forward. Starter Drew Brees (thumb) has an outside chance to play in Week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals.
