Darren Waller Ends Touchdown Drought With Two Scores
5 years agoOakland Raiders tight end Darren Waller finally broke through with two touchdowns as the Raiders fell to the Packers 42-24 in Week 7. The end zone eluded the 26-year-old in the first half after a 28-yard score was called back on a penalty, and on another play where he was tripped up at the two-yard line. Waller came through in garbage time in the second half, however, finishing the day with a 7/126/2 line as he once again led the offense with eight targets. After signing a five-year contract extension earlier this week, Waller made the front office proud despite the losing effort. Owners can fire him up as a high-end TE1 against the Texans weak secondary in Week 8.
