Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak continued his goal-scoring streak, tallying another goal and assist in a 4-3 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. This was Pastrnak's 15th point in his last six games, increasing his totals to nine goals and six assists in eight games. A matchup with their rival seemed to be just what the Bruins needed to kickstart their offense, as Danton Heinen and Jake Debrusk with his first goal of the season also chipped in with goals. After a start to the season that saw the Bruins first line of Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, and Pastrnak score 14 of the team's 19 goals, it is a good sign for others to start chipping in to generate offense. --Nate Duffett

Boston Bruins right wing David Pastrnak was in beast mode against the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday, racking up a season-high five points in a 5-1 victory. He recorded his first career natural hat trick and had two assists. Morgan Geekie also picked up five points (one goal, four assists) as the Bruins registered their first victory in 11 games. Pastrnak and Geekie became the fourth pair of teammates in the past 20 years to each factor on five straight team goals in a single game. The Bruins have been awful this season, but Pastrnak has still enjoyed a prolific campaign and is on track to register his third consecutive 100-point year. He has totaled 40 goals and 54 assists in 77 appearances, entering Sunday's matchup against the Buffalo Sabres with a five-game point streak.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Boston Bruins right wing David Pastrnak tallied three points during their victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday evening. Pastrnak tallied a primary assist in the opening frame on Parker Wotherspoon's first goal of the campaign. Later in the second, he tacked on another primary assist, this time on Brad Marchand's goal. Later in the period, Pastrnak would find the back of the net on a snap shot for his 20th goal of the season. This was Pastrnak's second-straight three-point showing and fourth multi-point game over his previous six games. During this stretch, Pastrnak has tallied ten points (seven goals, three assists) and averaged four shots on goal per game. The 28-year-old is beginning to heat up and will look to stay hot on Saturday afternoon against the Ottawa Senators.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Boston Bruins right wing David Pastrnak (upper body) will be in the lineup on Friday against Columbus. The star winger suffered an upper-body injury against Washington on Monday, exiting the contest after logging only nine minutes of action, but Pastrnak will not miss additional time. Pastrnak has had a hot month with 13 points. However, it's been a down year for him overall, as the prolific forward has settled for 35 points (12 goals, 23 assists) in 36 appearances. Pastrnak last averaged fewer than a point per game in 2017-18.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Boston Bruins right wing David Pastrnak (upper body) will play against Winnipeg on Tuesday. Pastrnak skipped Monday's practice but won't have to sit out his first game of the season. A recent four-game point streak has given Pastrnak's scoring account a good boost, putting him on nine goals and 18 assists with 29 games played. Boston's star forward has yet to reach double figures in goals despite firing off 115 shots on the net. His career average is nearly two times better than his current 7.8 shooting percentage, meaning Pastrnak should start to produce offense at a better rate in the near future.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
