Tyler Lockett Leads League In Catch Rate
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett made his owners proud against the Rams when he made a phenomenal toe-tapping catch in the back corner of the end zone last week, but otherwise, he was pretty quiet once again. Lockett was only targeted four times against the Rams, but the TD gave him plenty of points in the fantasy world. The good news is that he can turn those targets into catches, snagging 83% of passes thrown his way, best in the league. The bad news is limited targets is limited points. This week though, he'll be facing a Browns Defense that has struggled against slot receivers, and Lockett does most of his damage in the middle of the field while working from the slot. It wouldn't be surprising for Lockett to see a spike in opportunities this week and get back on that 100-yard gravy train.
