5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (concussion), tight end Evan Engram (knee) and running back Wayne Gallman (concussion) have all been ruled out for Thursday night's game against the Patriots. With Saquon Barkley (ankle) out another week too, it'll be rookie Jonathan Hilliman and Elijhaa Penny in the backfield against the Patriots' league-best defense. It'll be hard to trust anyone in New York's offense with rookie quarterback Daniel Jones under fire without his best playmakers available. Tight end Rhett Ellison and receiver Golden Tate will be Jones' top targets in the passing game. Cody Latimer and rookie Darius Slayton will step up in three-receiver sets.
