BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 37% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers wide receiver Geronimo Allison had a disappointing showing in Week 5, catching just two passes for 28 yards. However, on the bright side, he did lead all Packers wide receivers in targets with six, two more than Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Running back Aaron Jones was the team's overall target leader with eight and he led the team in both receptions (7) and receiving yards (75) as well. However, the Packers are likely going to need to get other skill players involved going forward as they await the return of Davante Adams (toe) and Allison is right near the top of that list.
Allison had his best game of the year in Week 4 against the Eagles, catching three passes for 52 yards and a touchdown. So this week's outing, with Adams sidelined, was certainly a disappointment, but that was also the case for Valdes-Scantling, who had been averaging around 50 yards per game going into Week 5, before gaining just 18 yards on one catch in the game.
Adams should be out at least one more week, giving Allison an opportunity to be a low-end WR3 or flex starter in leagues of 12 or more teams. Add him for his short-term value in leagues of 12 or more teams and hold on to him while Adams remains out.
