Cooper Kupp Continues To Dominate In Week 5 Defeat
5 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp continues to build his case to be named the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year, hauling in nine receptions on a season-high 17 targets for 117 yards and a touchdown during the loss to Seattle on Thursday. As the Rams continue to rely on quarterback Jared Goff’s arm more and more, Kupp has seen his target share correspondingly rise, especially late in games. The third-year wide receiver, who was drafted in the mid-to-late fourth round in most formats, has surpassed all exceptions and should remain a WR1 for the rest of the season, especially with teammate Brandin Cooks (head) landing in concussion protocol. Expect Kupp to be a top wide receiver option in all formats: in PPR leagues, he’ll have an absurdly high volume, and in standard leagues, he’ll have a high red-zone target share.
