5 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison had a surprisingly solid week during the Week 3 contest versus the Oakland Raiders. Mattison rushed 12 times for 58 yards and a touchdown. This was the first time that Mattison had double digit rushing attempts this season, but that was likely a fluke game. Dalvin Cook is the lead back and is going to continue to get a bulk of the carries. Mattison heads into a Week 3 matchup against an elite Chicago Bears Defense. He's going to get some carries, but the chances of him doing anything productive with those attempts is slim. It's best for standard league fantasy owners to go ahead and bench him in this one. Mattison might still carry some value in deep leagues because he will see some attempts behind Cook.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
