Chris Carson Trying To Ignore Fumbles
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson is getting peppered with questions about his fumble issues, but he's keeping a low-key attitude about the turnovers so far. Carson has fumbled three times in 45 carries this season after averaging just one fumble per 99 carries in previous years. However, the coaching staff, teammates, and Carson himself are insistent that they'd rather he not think about the fumbles and instead focus on running hard and fearlessly. Everyone seems on board with the idea that this is a temporary blip. Carson will get the chance to prove he's past the issue this week when Seattle faces the Cardinals. Arizona's run defense has been above average so far this season, but Carson should get plenty of chances. Expect Seattle's offense to run through him, especially if they're finally able to open up a decent lead on a team.
