Joc Pederson Homers Twice On Wednesday
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson has been on an absolute tear in September, with an OPS of 1.346 in the month. On Wednesday, he had his third two-homer game of September, going 3-for-3 with a walk and three RBI. Pederson is now slashing .249/.341/.537 with 35 home runs, 72 RBI and 81 runs on the year. The Dodgers have remained hesitant to play the left-handed Pederson against lefties, which has been justified by the fact that Pederson has zero home runs and just a .229 batting average in 48 at-bats against lefties on the year. Still, Pederson's power upside can't be ignored. He's a great play in daily when he's in the lineup and should be a worthy mid-round target in fantasy drafts next year.
