5 years agoAtlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman (elbow) should be ready to return versus the New York Mets on Friday, according to manager Brian Snitker. Freeman is currently not with the team and is getting treatment on his lingering elbow issue. Freeman has been a big part to this team all year, so the Braves will need him in the playoffs. Austin Riley will bat sixth and play first base versus lefty Danny Duffy on Tuesday. Riley doesn't seem to have much upside lately, so he can be ignored.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
