Devonta Freeman Worthy Of Starting In Week 2
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman had a game to forget in Week 1, when he gained just 19 yards on eight carries against the Vikings. This week, the Falcons face the Eagles in their home opener Sunday night. The Eagles have a strong rush defense and they held the Redskins to just 2.2 yards per carry in Week 1, but Freeman should see a heavy workload and have a strong shot at scoring his first touchdown of the year in the game. Expect him to see around 15 touches and deliver around 80 yards, making him a solid RB2 or strong flex start this week.
