5 years agoPer head coach Anthony Lynn, Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams (knee) could miss the team's Week 2 contest against the Detroit Lions. Williams initially was injured near the end of the Chargers overtime victory over the Indianapolis Colts, and on Wednesday Lynn indicated that the injury was somewhat serious. Expect the wide receiver to be day-to-day. If he plays, Williams will see more targets with tight end Hunter Henry's (knee) injury. If Williams is forced to miss Week 2, Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler will play huge roles, while Travis Benjamin and Geremy Davis would be forced into three-receiver sets.--Siddhant Gannu
