Russell Wilson Throws For Two Touchdowns
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson posted another solid day in the team's Week 1 win against the Bengals. Wilson was accurate but unspectacular as he completed 70% of his passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns and zero interceptions. The offense in general was terrible at the start of the game, but in true Seahawks fashion, they got it together quickly in the second half and squeaked out the win. A couple gorgeous throws to Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf helped boost his stats, and a dramatic increase in pass plays to running back Chris Carson showed some real potential. The train may be slow getting up to speed, but there's some serious potential lurking under the surface here.
