Matt Ryan Salvages Day With Two Late Touchdowns
5 years agoThings were looking pretty ugly for three quarters for Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan on Sunday, but he was able to somewhat salvage his stat line in the fourth quarter. In the Falcons 28-12 loss to the Vikings, Ryan completed 33 of 46 passes for 304 yards and two touchdowns. He was also picked off twice in the game and sacked four times. It was a tough matchup on the road against a top-notch passing defense, but Ryan still managed above-average production with a solid completion percentage of 71.7 percent. Look for him to come out stronger from the opening quarter in next week's home opener against the Eagles.
