Vernon Davis Catches Touchdown Against Eagles
5 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Vernon Davis scored the team's first touchdown of 2019 on an impressive 48-yard scamper. He finished the day with four catches for 59 yards and the lone touchdown. The thing that jumps out at you might be the long touchdown, but keep in mind that he only accumulated 11 yards on his other three receptions. He was targeted seven times, however, which was tied with Terry McLaurin and Paul Richardson for the second-most on the team. The volume Davis saw on Sunday could wind up making him a halfway viable fantasy option as long as Jordan Reed is sidelined, but it'd be wise not to bank on too many long touchdowns for the veteran.
