Lamar Jackson Puts On A Show
5 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson looked unstoppable Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. He posted the best passer rating (158.3) in Ravens history in the 59-10 win. Jackson completed 17-of-20 passes for 324 yards and five touchdowns and connected with rookie wide receiver Marquise Brown four times for 147 yards and two touchdowns. Tight end Mark Andrews caught all eight of his targets for 108 yards and a touchdown. There were questions about Jackson's arm going into the season and although the Dolphins Defense is among the worst in the league, he's proven he knows how to air the ball out. His five touchdown passes are just one short of his 2018 total in seven starts. Jackson had only three rush attempts for six yards. Expect Jackson to throw a lot again in Week Two against a Cardinals Defense that gave up the fourth-most passing yards in the league in 2018 (3,262).
