Mohamed Sanu Could Be Sneaky Week 1 Starting Option
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Mohamed Sanu has mostly been in the background this offseason as the hype has surrounded his teammate and fellow wide receiver Calvin Ridley. However, with the team's No. 1 receiver Julio Jones potentially out this week against the Vikings, Sanu could stand to benefit just as much as Ridley. The Vikings boast a strong pass defense as they allowed the third-fewest passing yards in the league last year, so if Jones plays, Sanu shouldn't be started in any leagues. However, if Jones sits, Sanu could see around six or seven targets with the ability to find the end zone. Keep an eye on Jones' status and if he's indeed out and you need a WR3 or Flex, Sanu could be your guy.
