Mitch Trubisky Lacks Top-12 Appeal In Week 1
5 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky and Co. will take the first step towards what they hope is a special season this Thursday night against the Packers. The third-year quarterback will be looking to take his game to the next level this season and will get his first test against the rival Packers. Trubisky passed for 19 touchdowns with nine interceptions in eight home games last season and will go up against a Packers Defense that allowed the 17th fewest points to the quarterback position last season. Trubisky was not very sharp to open the season last year against the Packers but rebounded in Week 15, completing 20-of-28 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns. That line of production should be a reasonable expectation for Trubisky at home in Week 1.
