5 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl (ankle) did not make the road trip with the team and continues to rehab in Colorado, according to manager Bud Black. Dahl has been out since August 2, and it sounds like he's still a ways from returning. At this point, it's questionable whether he'll be back this season. The oft-injured outfielder was having the best season of his career, logging nearly twice as many plate appearances as he has in any other season in the majors, but injuries are always waiting in the wings for Dahl. He's only tallied more than 500 plate appearances in one season of professional baseball though he's been in the Rockies' system since 2012. He's an impressive hitter when healthy, but that's a pretty rare occurrence.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
