Benny Snell Jr. Gets 10 Touches In Final Preseason Tuneup
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Benny Snell Jr. rushed eight times for just 12 yards, while also catching two of three targets for 23 yards in Thursday's final preseason game against the Panthers. Snell Jr., the rookie out of Kentucky, has received 28 carries this preseason and has earned just 54 yards. He's more of a bruiser than incumbent backup Jaylen Samuels, but his lack of production in the preseason has to make the team question his readiness for the NFL. Snell Jr. is a solid dynasty option due to Pittsburgh's offensive prowess, but his first taste of the NFL hasn't been as impressive as some other rookies in the league.
