Mason Rudolph Throws For 125 Yards On Thursday
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph went seven of 11 for 125 yards and a touchdown in the team's final preseason game on Thursday against the Panthers. Rudolph put on his best impression for the coaching staff in their decision to name the backup to Ben Roethlisberger. Joshua Dobbs got the start and went just 3-for-5, which is pretty telling of who the team wants to see as their backup this season. We'll know officially on Saturday who the team chooses, but the cards seem to be in Rudolph's favor. He's only a dynasty option for the time being and even if Roethlisberger were to go down, the second-year man would have a lot to prove before he becomes fantasy relevant in redraft leagues.
