Anthony Rizzo Remains Out on Thursday
5 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo (back) remains out of the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the New York Mets. Rizzo has been out of the lineup since Sunday due to back stiffness. Manager Joe Maddon doesn't expect Rizzo to be ready for Friday's game, so it's unclear when he'll get back in there. Victor Caratini will draw the start at first base and bat fifth versus righty Jacob deGrom. Caratini doesn't have fantasy upside against an elite pitcher like deGrom.
