David Price Rejoins Dodgers Bullpen
David Price (wrist) from the 15-day injured list on Tuesday and optioned right-hander Andre Jackson to Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move. Price has been out for almost a month with wrist inflammation, but he'll rejoin the team for the tail end of the regular season and for the start of the playoffs in October. The 37-year-old veteran southpaw's days of fantasy relevance are over, but he's still been a solid real-life piece to the Dodgers bullpen in 2022 when he's been healthy. In 38 1/3 innings over 38 appearances, he has a 2.58 ERA (3.85 FIP), a 1.17 WHIP, one save and 37 strikeouts.

David Price Set To Retire After Season
David Price (wrist) is set to retire at the end of the season, according to Bob Nightengale. The big left-hander has put together a stellar career, posting a 3.32 ERA and 1.16 WHIP across 13 MLB seasons. He made the All-Star team five times, won a Cy Young award, and earned a World Series title with the Red Sox back in 2018. For now, the 37-year-old is set to return to the Dodgers' bullpen later this week.

David Price Throws Bullpen
David Price (wrist) threw a bullpen session on Wednesday. It was the first time Price has thrown off a mound since he landed on the injured list on Sept. 4 with left wrist inflammation. Despite dealing with wrist problems for a while before that, the 37-year-old southpaw has gone 2-0 with a solid 2.58 ERA (3.84 FIP), a 1.17 WHIP, one save and 37 strikeouts in 38 1/3 relief innings for the Blue this year. Barring a setback, Price expects to return from the injured list before the end of the regular season, so they should have him available as a lefty specialist out of the bullpen for the postseason.

David Price Secures First Save On Saturday
David Price allowed two hits and struck out one in 1/3 inning to earn the save in Saturday's 4-2 win over the San Francisco Giants. He entered the game in the ninth inning to protect a two-run lead. The southpaw allowed two baserunners before striking out Austin Slater to end the game. It was his first save of the season. The 36-year-old owns a 3.42 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, and 28:5 K: BB across 23 2/3 innings. Price has racked up one save and three holds as a low-leverage reliever for the Dodgers and is mainly an option in very deep-league formats.
