5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams only had two opportunities on Saturday against Seattle, but he did bring in one of the passes for 11 yards. Williams was used sparingly, only on the field for 18 snaps, as the team wants to preserve as much of its offensive powerhouse as possible. With Keenan Allen recovering from an ankle injury and Melvin Gordon holding out, Williams will likely serve a major role in the first couple weeks of the season. This could be his chance to truly break out and start to fill the shoes of being a comparable No. 2 to Allen's No. 1. Williams could be a superstar before November.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
