5 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Jon Gray (foot) will undergo season-ending foot surgery to repair a stress fracture in his left foot. He will miss the remainder of the 2019 season, but should be ready by the beginning of next spring training. He's been battling this foot issue since the start of August, so the Rockies just decided to shut him down and have him get the surgery. He was placed on the 60-day injured list on Wednesday, so fantasy owners shouldn't be too surprised that he's having surgery.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
