Trevor Story Steals His 18th Base
5 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story continued his drive to another MVP finalist finish as he swiped his 18th base of the season on Wednesday. Story now has 28 home runs, 18 stolen bases, 74 RBI, 93 runs scored, and is hitting .296 on the season, all while playing Gold Glove-caliber defense at the most difficult non-catcher position. Story has been particularly dominant this month, hitting .400 with six home runs and four stolen bases while also knocking seven doubles. Story appears to have turned the corner from potential superstar who had a breakout to full-fledged stud who can be depended on in future years.
