Justin Watson Fairly Involved Throughout Preseason
5 years agoBuccaneers wide receiver Justin Watson has seen seven and six targets through his first two preseason games. He totaled 37 yards on four catches week one and 22 yards on two catches in week two. Watson figures to replace Adam Humphries as the Buccaneers' slot receiver in 2019, but might not be as skilled as him. Humphries presented a solid safety blanket for the past few years and earned a nice payday from Tennessee this past offseason. Watson can slide in and replicate parts of the role but likely will not be targeted as heavily this season. He's a decent late-round flier in deeper PPR leagues but can be ignored for now elsewhere.
