Josh Jacobs Tallies 21 Yards In Preseason Debut
5 years agoOakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs had a terrific showing in his debut game of the preseason Thursday versus the Cardinals. He carried the ball four times on the opening drive of the game, tallying 21 yards before taking a seat for the remainder of the contest. Jacobs proved why he was the first RB off the board at this year's draft, making great cuts and showing good vision with three of his four carries going for six or more yards. The goal for the coaching staff is to have the rookie occupy a three-down role, but it remains to be seen how much third down work he'll receive. Jacobs is a high-ceiling player to target in the third or fourth round who could outproduce his ADP if he does get involved in the passing game.
