J.A. Happ Records 10th Victory Of The Season
5 years agoNew York Yankees starter J.A. Happ emerged victorious Wednesday afternoon as his club picked up their 16th consecutive victory against the Baltimore Orioles. The 36-year-old struggled early, allowing a run in the first inning of the game. As has been the case many times this season, however, Happ enjoyed plenty of offensive support as his club scored four runs of their own in the first. He would toss just five innings, allowing two runs on six hits and three walks. The game would be won by the Yankees, 6-5, as Happ improved his season record to 10-7.
