5 years agoNew York Mets infielder/outfielder Jeff McNeil (hamstring) will likely need to be placed on the 10-day injured list due to an injured left hamstring, with Mets officials waiting for MRI confirmation this afternoon. The 27-year-old came up limping after trying to beat out a ground ball in the ninth inning. McNeil has put up totals of 15 home runs, 55 RBI, 67 runs, four stolen bases, and a .332 batting average, which is the fourth highest total in the entire MLB.
