New York Giants owner John Mara spoke to reporters Tuesday on the ongoing position battle between Giants quarterbacks Eli Manning and rookie Daniel Jones. Mara stated that he would like to see Manning have a "strong season" and let the rookie learn from the two-time Super Bowl champion. Since selecting Jones sixth overall, it seems as though the Giants are looking towards long-term gain. Although only having one drive in his preseason debut against the Jets, Jones went 5-for-5 and ended the drive with a touchdown pass. Jones may see some action in 2019 depending on how Manning performs, but he's only worth a draft pick in dynasty leagues.--addison_phillips
