Didi Gregorius Plates Four In Matinee Victory
5 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius led the offensive unit Monday afternoon in the first game against the Baltimore Orioles. The Dutch native drove in half of his club's runs in the game, smashing a three-run bomb in the first inning. The 29-year-old later hit a sacrifice fly to increase the lead to five. This was a much-needed home run for Gregorius, who's struggled this month. For August, he's batting just .219, a low for any month thus far this season.
