Mason Rudolph Tosses Two Touchdowns In Preseason Opener
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph completed 5 of 8 passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's preseason opening 30-28 win over Tampa Bay. The second-year signal caller saw a majority his work in the second and third quarter. After being drafted in the third round in 2018, many expect Rudolph to be the heir apparent to Ben Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh. It was encouraging to see him perform well on Friday, but there's not much to look at for Rudolph just yet, especially since he's in a training camp battle with Joshua Dobbs to be the backup. Rudolph has some dynasty value but if he isn't able to claim the backup job, his future will have some serious question marks.
