BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 21% of Yahoo! leagues
ANALYSIS: Blue Jays outfielder Randal Grichuk has gotten off to a hot start in the month of August, hitting .357 with a pair of home runs and four RBI in seven games.
His season line has been solid as well, with 19 home runs, 50 RBI, 52 runs scored and two steals, although his .238/.294/.428 certainly leaves quite a bit to be desired.
Grichuk has seen his barrel rate drop quite a bit this season. His 7.1% barrel rate is less than half of the rate he posted last season (14.4%) and his 16.0% rate in 2017 was among the top-two percent in the league.
If Grichuk can start finding the barrel again during the last two months of the season, he could be a sneaky-good pickup in 12+ team leagues for the fantasy playoffs.
The Jays don't have a ton of other options in the outfield, and a bevy of young, talented players around him should allow him to generate plenty of runs and RBI going forward.
