5 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols will start and hit fifth Friday against the Red Sox. Pujols has only one hit over his last eight at-bats and is slugging only .300 in the infancy stages of the month of August. At 39 years old, Pujols is still providing solid, if unspectacular, offensive production with 14 doubles, 17 home runs and 63 runs batted in. The future Hall of Famer is not fantasy viable outside of deeper leagues heading into this weekend's action.--Joey C - RotoBaller
