Yordan Alvarez Hitting .423 Over Last Seven Games
5 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez went 3-for-4 with one run scored in the Astros 14-3 win over the Rockies on Wednesday. Alvarez continues to deliver offensively at the plate and is 11-for-26 (.423) over his last seven games with two home runs and seven RBI. Alvarez is making a late-season push for AL Rookie of the Year and doesn't appear to be slowing down. Through only 43 games and 156 at-bats this season, Alvarez is slashing .348/.429/.703 with 14 doubles, 14 home runs, 26 runs scored and 43 runs batted in. Alvarez should be owned in all formats but fantasy owners need to be wary of his current .406 BABIP, a number bound to regress.
