Vita Vea Leaves Practice, Will Go For MRI
5 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Vita Vea (knee) left practice Tuesday due to a knee injury and he will go for an MRI on Friday. He suffered the injury during blocked drills, and the good news is that he was able to walk off the field under his own power. Last October it was feared Vea suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament, but the MRI came back negative and he dodged a huge bullet. The swelling must be pretty substantial that the organization is waiting until Friday to test. Hopefully Vea is able to escape serious injury yet again. Either way, the Buccaneers DST is only worth a look as a low-end No. 2 fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams.
