5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner is heading into his second full season as the team's starting running back and doesn't plan on wasting his chances. In an interview with NFL Network, Conner said "Got to win now. Why wait? Why wait? What’s the point of doing that? We’re just wasting time." The team has been working in several two-back sets with Conner and Jaylen Samuels in an effort to maximize their talents, but they also are trying to keep Conner's legs fresh. The Pitt product has jumped into the first round of mock drafts, thanks in part to the uncertain contract status of backs like Ezekiel Elliott and Melvin Gordon. If he stays healthy all year, Conner should have no problem finishing as a Top 10 running back in fantasy, with an RB1 ceiling if the team performs on par.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
