Wilson Ramos's Blast Seals Victory
5 years agoNew York Mets catcher Wilson Ramos smacked a three-run blast Tuesday night that effectively sealed his club's victory over the Miami Marlins at Citi Field. The 31-year-old recorded just one hit on the night, but it was this third-inning bomb to center. Ramos has gotten off to a much better August after a very disappointing July. Thus far through six games this month, he's got eight hits, two home runs and 12 RBI. With Robinson Cano out for the rest of the season, Ramos will be one of the veteran leaders on this club that suddenly has legitimate postseason aspirations.
