Lance Lynn - TEX vs DET - $10,500
You wouldn't be able to tell by only looking at his 3.83 ERA, but Lynn has pitched like an ace this season. He's got a 2.94 FIP and a 2.82 Deserved Run Average with a 27.2% K-rate and 15 quality starts. Lynn is also facing the weakest lineup in the American League in the Tigers, who have just a .281 wOBA against right-handed pitching, as well as a 26.6% K-rate that is highest in the majors. Lynn is far-and-away the best starting pitcher option tonight.
Dustin May - LOS vs SDP - $5,800
It's very risky to play somebody making his first career start, but there's a lot of upside in Dustin May. He dominated triple-A with a 2.30 ERA in five starts, featuring two plus pitches in his fastball and breaking ball and showing strong command at just 21-years-old. May faces a Padres lineup that has a well below-average .308 wOBA versus righties, as well as a 26.0% K-rate that ranks third-highest in the league. May is an absurdly cheap upside flier, although he comes with risk in his debut.

1B - Jose Abreu - CWS at PHI - $2,900
While Abreu has been cold lately, he's a great buy low against a lefty. Abreu has been mashing southpaws to the tune of a 122 wRC+ this year, and he gets a weak one in Jason Vargas tonight. Vargas has an awful 5.08 SIERA, and Philadelphia has an extremely hitter-friendly park. Abreu is an outstanding value play at this price.
2B - Jonathan Schoop - MIN vs. KAN - $2,600
Schoop provides us a cheap hitter against one of the worst starters on the slate in Glenn Sparkman. Sparkman has a 5.25 ERA with a 2.04 HR/9, so the Twins bomb squad lineup is going to tee off on him. It will be tough to run a Twins stack with their expensive options, but rolling with a few cheaper bats like Schoop should still pay off. It's often a smart idea to go cheap at the weakest position.
3B - Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. - TOR at BAL - $3,400
Vladdy is the hottest hitter in the league, as he's batting .393 with a 1.362 OPS and four home runs in the last week. Guerrero has nothing in his path to stop him against the Orioles pitching staff, including starter Aaron Brooks and his 5.55 FIP. This is your final chance to get Guerrero, in an extreme hitter's environment, before his price inevitably rises.
SS - Jean Segura - PHI vs CWS - $3,400
Segura is a good play in cash games for his high floor batting second in the Phillies lineup, a spot where he can rack up counting stats. The Phillies lineup should have a big performance against White Sox starter Ivan Nova, who has a 5.23 ERA with just a 15.0% K-rate. Expect Segura to be on base with multiple opportunities to score runs.

Whit Merrifield - KAN at MIN - $3,400
Merrifield's price is depressed due to a cold streak, but he's still a fire play as the Royals leadoff hitter. Merrifield is fourth in the majors in plate appearances, which means he gets more chances to score points than nearly every other player. He's got a decent power and speed combo and is in a position to score runs against Martin Perez, owner of a 4.38 ERA.
Yasiel Puig - CLE vs. LAA - $2,900
Puig is already off to a fast start with his new club, stealing a base in his first game with Cleveland. Puig's 15 steals to go with 22 homers makes him one of the most explosive players in the game, and he's now batting cleanup for a much better lineup. Puig is a nice play in GPP tournaments for some upside at this price.
