Jordan Reed Rounding Into Form
5 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed has been uninhibited by injury in training camp for the first time in years, and it appears to be showing on the field. Per John Keim of ESPN.com, Reed says he is feeling "more explosive," and that his feet are feeling "way stronger than last year." Aside from being a positive for Reed and the Redskins, the tight end's ability to operate at full speed without any hindrances presents some intrigue for fantasy owners as well. At his best, Reed is the most proven pass-catcher on Washington's roster, and his involvement in the offense makes them an entirely different team. If a healthy training camp translates into a primary role in the passing game, a bounce-back season could be on its way. Reed is currently being taken as the 20th tight end in 12-team PPR drafts, according to Fantasy Football Calculator. His ADP is likely to climb over the next few weeks with more positive reports like Keim's, but he could be a steal for those owners who've already grabbed him as TE20.
