Garrett Cooper Remains Out of the Lineup on Thursday
5 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder/first baseman Garrett Cooper (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Twins. Cooper left Tuesday’s game after two innings with a tight left hamstring and is listed as day-to-day. The 28-year-old has totaled 11 home runs, 38 RBI, 41 runs, a .293 batting average and .831 OPS over 69 games in 2019. Cooper has cooled off in recent weeks and is mainly a target in deep mixed leagues. Neil Walker will start at first base while Harold Ramirez, Brian Anderson, and Cesar Puello are in the outfield.
