Atlanta Braves (+155) @ Washington Nationals

O/U: 9.5

The Braves dropped the series opener against the Nationals on Monday night. Don't expect it to happen again. As such, the Braves are a tremendous value at moderate plus-money, especially in a favorable pitching matchup of RHP Julio Teheran against RHP Erick Fedde.

Atlanta has posted a 7-3 record in the past 10 in Game 2 of a series, while going 11-5 in the past 16 following a loss. Teheran is the man to get things back on track, too, as the Braves are 6-1 in his past seven starts inside the National League East, while going 4-1 in his past five road outings and 4-1 in his past five starts overall. The Braves are also 5-2 in his past seven appearances against the Nationals.

On the flip side, the Nats are 3-9 in Fedde's past 12 home starts, including 1-6 in his past seven at Nationals Park against a team with a winning overall mark.

My Pick: Braves (+155)

Minnesota Twins (-155) @ Miami Marlins

O/U: 8

The Twins have a very favorable pitching matchup in this interleague series opener. Minnesota has posted a 5-2 mark over their past seven road outings while going 5-2 in the past seven road games against a right-handed starting pitcher. They're also 13-4 in RHP Jake Odorizzi's last 17 starts overall while going 6-2 in his past eight outings on the road. They're also 13-3 in his past 16 against teams with a losing overall mark.

Fort he Marlins, they're 4-0 in the past four vs. RHP, while going 5-1 in the past six interleague battles. While that's all well and good, they're just 1-4 in RHP Zac Gallen's past five appearances, 1-4 in the past five interleague home battles and 14-39 in the past 53 against teams with an overall winning percentage over .600.

My Pick: Twins (-155)

Chicago Cubs @ St. Louis Cardinals (+110)

O/U: 9

The Cardinals have been red-hot lately, registering five consecutive wins inside the National League Central, and they're 4-0 in the past four series openers, too. In addition, the Cards have cashed in 12 of the past 16 games overall, while going 6-1 in the past seven games against a right-handed starting pitcher. They're also 5-2 in the past seven at Busch Stadium II against a righty.

With RHP Adam Wainwright on the hill, the Cards have won 45 of the past 65 home outings, and they're 41-20 in his past 61 inside the NL Central. They have won each of Waino's past four starts overall, too, while going 6-1 in Wainwright's past seven home outings against the Cubbies.

Chicago has managed just one victory in their past seven trips to the Gateway City, while going 8-20 in their past 28 road outings, including 4-9 in the past 13 away from home against winning teams. They have also cashed just once in the past six starts by RHP Yu Darvish.

My Pick: Cardinals (+110)
