Mike Tomlin: James Washington More Comfortable In Second Year
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver James Washington has an opportunity to take on a much larger role in 2019. When asked in his Tuesday presser whether Washington is more comfortable in his second season, head coach Mike Tomlin said "I think that's no question." Since Antonio Brown is no longer in the equation, the 23-year-old is in a position to start opposite of JuJu Smith-Schuster. Washington caught just 16 passes for 217 yards and a score as a rookie, so he is looking to make an impact. The former second-round pick is a solid dynasty option in a top offense, but his 11th round ADP in PPR redraft formats could prove amazing value if he earns the starting nod.
