David Montgomery Lauded For Vision Despite Tough Day
5 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery was praised once again by head coach Matt Nagy for his vision during padded practice. The rookie running back had a tough first day in pads, whiffing on a pass-protection play and then failing to convert on a red zone drill. But Nagy once again lauded Montgomery for his instincts and displaying some of "the best vision I have seen in a long time." The rookie is expected to be a big part of the Bears offense this season but fantasy owners need to realize that Montgomery could be brought along slowly. The Bears have Tarik Cohen and Mike Davis in the backfield and can even toss Cordarrelle Patterson into the mix to take a handoff or two. But Montgomery represents the complete package and should be the most attractive fantasy option in the Bears backfield by season's end.
