Kyle Larson Runs Fifth In Backup Car At Pocono
5 years agoGanassi Racing driver Kyle Larson raced his backup car to a fifth-place finish at the Gander RV 400 at Pocono Raceway on Sunday. Larson smacked the wall during a practice run in Saturday's practice session. It was the second consecutive weekend he was forced into his backup ride. He'll look to roll in his primary ride next Sunday when the circuit heads to tackle the road course at Watkins Glen. In five career Cup starts he has a top-5 finish, two top-10 runs and a 14.8 Average-Finish Position with zero laps led and no DNFs.
